'Nightline' Sees Increases Year to Year Across All Key Demos

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (790,000), Adults 25-54 (155,000) and Adults 18-49 (107,000) for the week of Dec. 30, 2024, based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research, beating CBS' "After Midnight" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" across the board for the 2nd straight week.

· "Nightline" saw increases year to year in Total Viewers (+4% - 790,000 vs. 756,000), Adults 25-54 (+3% - 155,000 vs. 151,000) and Adults 18-49 (+2% - 107,000 vs. 88,000).

· This week, "Nightline" covered the New Orleans truck attacker whose heinous assault killed 14 people, Drea de Matteo opening up about her journey to OnlyFans, the passing of former President Jimmy Carter, looking at the life of the 39th president and more.

NOTE: On Tuesday (12/31/24), all three programs were preempted. On Wednesday (1/1/25), "Nightline" and CBS' "After Midnight" were coded as specials. ABC's and CBS' weekly averages are based on three days (Monday, Thursday and Friday), and NBC's weekly averages are based on four days (Monday, Wednesday-Friday).
