Multi-Platinum Group To Perform Five-Song Set Including New Hit Single "The Fighter," "Billionaire" and "Clothes Off," with Special Guests Neon Hitch and Patrick Stump

NEW YORK, NY - July 10, 2012 - VH1 today announced Gym Class Heroes will take the stage for the Grammy(R) and Emmy(R) award-winning series, "Unplugged," now back for the 2012 season, with State Farm serving as exclusive digital sponsor. The episode, which features a five-song set, plus one digital-only exclusive, will debut on Thursday, July 12 on Unplugged.VH1.com beginning at 4 PM EST and on-air that evening at 12 Midnight EST. The episode will also appear on Palladia, beginning Saturday, July 14 at 9 PM EST and again that evening at 12 Midnight EST.

"Gym Class Heroes bring a fresh energy and string of hits to the Unplugged stage," said Rick Krim, VH1 Executive Vice President of Talent & Music Programming, "We couldn't think of a more perfect time to give fans the up-close and raw performances of some of their favorite songs."

The multi-platinum group, featuring Travie McCoy, Disash Lumumba-Kasongo, Eric Roberts and Matt McGinley will perform fan favorites including their new hit single "The Fighter," as well as "Billionaire," "Clothes Off" and "Stereo Hearts," all featuring a guest performance with Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. Gym Class Heroes will also perform "Ass Back Home," from their 2011 album "The Papercut Chronicles II" featuring British singer/songwriter Neon Hitch and finally, perform a web-exclusive "Gym Class Heroes Jam" appearing only on Unplugged.VH1.com.

The 2012 Unplugged Season features a total of eight episodes across MTV, VH1 and CMT, with Gym Class Heroes' performance being the fourth in the Season.
