New Twist Puts the Coaches' Futures in the Hands of America!

"JoJo" Spatafora's loyalty to her alliance from last week - which attempted to vote out HoH Frank - led the Houseguests to evict the 26-year-old bartender from Staten Island, N.Y., by a vote of 5-1 during the LIVE eviction last night on BIG BROTHER.

Following the eviction ceremony, the Houseguests competed in a LIVE "On Thin Ice" Head of Household competition, where they used an oversized hockey stick to shoot a ball into goals at the other end of the hockey rink. Shane's ball landed in the goal worth the most points, earning him HoH for the week.

At the end of the show, host Julie Chen announced that America will have an opportunity to vote on giving the coaches an option to join the game as players. Fans can find details on America's Vote by going to CBS.com/BigBrother. The results will be announced next Thursday, August 2.

BIG BROTHER is broadcast three nights weekly, Sundays (8:00:30-8:59:30 PM, ET/PT), Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and the LIVE eviction show, hosted by Julie Chen, Thursdays (9:00-10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT).

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with more than 52 cameras and 95 microphones recording their every move, 24 hours a day. Each week, the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining Houseguest will receive the grand prize of $500,000.

BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan for Fly on the Wall Entertainment, in association with Endemol U.S.A.
