DIRTY LITTLE SECRET: THE JODI ARIAS STORY (Lifetime) - Tania Raymonde is in final negotiations and Jesse Lee Soffer is set to star in the cable channel's portrait of "32-year-old photographer Arias (Raymonde), who is standing trial for the 2008 murder of her boyfriend Alexander (Soffer), accused of stabbing him 27 times, slitting his throat and shooting him in the head in his apartment." Jace Alexander is helming the project from a script by Richard Blaney and Gregory Small with Joshua D. Maurer, Alixandre Witlin and Judith Verno executive producing. City Entertainment and Peace Out Productions are co-producing. It's understood the ending with be written after the end of the trial. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - MSN is in talks to revive NBC's superhero drama "Heroes" as part of its original programming push via Xbox (TVLine.com); ABC will release the eight remaining episodes of "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" via ABC.com, iTunes and Hulu on May 17 (@KrystenRitter); Brad Beyer and Alexandra Socha have both landed recurring roles on "Royal Pains" (Deadline.com); Dohn Norwood's Psalms is the latest to be upped to series regular on "Hell on Wheels" (Deadline.com); Constance Wu and Johnny Wu will guest on "Covert Affairs" as married Chinese bureaucrats whom Annie is tasked with determining their motives (TVLine.com); Alcon Television Group is looking to bring Terry Moore's comic book "Rachel Rising" to the small screen (THR.com); and Kim Wayans is bound for "The Soul Man" as a doctor who helps Boyce get over his phobia of doctors (THR.com).
