EQUALIZER, THE (CBS) - Donal Logue and Gloria Reuben are both bound for the new season. Logue will portray Colton Fisk, "one of the CIA's most decorated agents, an ex-CIA union chief in the Middle East during the 1990s. Empowered with a Tier 5 security clearance (the highest possible) he was part of the intelligence team that took out Bin Laden, and for many years he ran the Farm (Code name for CIA training base in Virginia)." And Reuben is set as Trish, "a recently widowed gallerist who is rekindling a romantic relationship with her former girlfriend, Vi (Lorraine Toussaint)." (Deadline.com)
FEUD (FX) - Molly Ringwald has signed onto the anthology series' second season as "Johnny Carson's second wife Joanne Carson, a good friend of Capote's who remained close to him until his death." (Deadline.com)
FOR ALL MANKIND (Apple TV+) - Tyner Rushing has been cast in the upcoming season as Samantha, "a space worker on the Mars colony." (Deadline.com)
FULL CIRCLE (HBO Max) - Jharrel Jerome is the latest cast in the Steven Soderbergh-helmed limited series as "a member of a New York criminal organization." (Deadline.com)
HIP (ABC) - The Alphabet has given the Drew Goddard-penned import of the French series a pilot order. In it, "a single mom with three kids and an exceptional mind helps solve an unsolvable crime when she rearranges some evidence during her shift as a cleaner for the police department. When they discover she has a knack for putting things in order because of her HIP, she is brought on as a consultant to work with a by-the-book seasoned detective, and together they form an unusual and unstoppable team." Sarah Esberg, Pierre Laugier, Anthony Lancret and Jean Nainchrik will also executive produce for Goddard Textiles, Newen Connect and ABC Signature. (Deadline.com)
MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN (Paramount+) - Gratiela Brancusi and Lane Garrison will both recur on the show's sophomore run as Tatiana, "a hostess at the Cheetah Nightclub"; and Carney, "one of the higher-ranking prison guards at Kingstown and an associate of Mike's (Jeremy Renner)," respectively. MURDER BY THE BOOK (NBC, New!) - "Good Girls" alums Retta, Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs are set to team for a new drama at the network which "follows a big-city Instafamous book reviewer (Retta) who takes a page out of the murder mystery books she reviews and becomes an unlikely detective to uncover the shocking truths about an eccentric seaside town." The project, which has a put pilot commitment, is set up at the Universal Television-based Minnesota Logging Company will all three executive producing alongside Casey Kyber. (Deadline.com)
RAZZLEKHAN: THE INFAMOUS CROCODILE OF WALL STREET (Hulu, New!) - Lily Collins is attached to star in a limited series at the streamer about the true story of Ilya "Dutch" Lichtenstein and Heather "Razzlekhan" Morgan, "tipped to be either the masterminds behind one of the largest heists in history or a pair of hapless wannabe entrepreneurs who somehow stumbled onto a hard drive containing $3.6 billion in Bitcoin stolen from the Finex exchange." Charlie McDowell is on board to direct and executive produce alongside Collins, Alex Orlovsky and Scoop Wasserstein for Searchlight Television and New York Magazine/Vox Media Studios. The New York Magazine article "The Many Lives of Crypto's Most Notorious Couple" will serve as source material. (Deadline.com)
ROOKIE, THE: FEDS (ABC) - Eric Roberts, Deniz Akdeniz, Jessica Betts and Tom Arnold are all bound for the spin-off series. Betts, wife of series star Niecy Nash-Betts, will guest as "a love interest for Nash-Betts' character Simone Clark"; with Arnold as "the charismatic father of Kevin Zegers' Brendon"; Roberts as "a father with a dark secret"; and Akdeniz as "Laura's (Britt Robertson) former Behavioral Science Unit colleague." WE WERE THE LUCKY ONES (Hulu) - Logan Lerman will star alongside Joey King in the limited series adaptation of Georgia Hunter's bestseller as Addy, "a 25-year-old Polish, Jewish middle child. He is an adventurer who lives in Paris as an engineer and is enjoying budding success as a music composer. He has an ability to find common ground with dissimilar people and a talent to fix anything. The character is inspired by the story of Georgia Hunter's grandfather as a young man in the late 1930s." (Deadline.com)
