9-1-1: LONE STAR (FOX) - Neal McDonough, D.B. Woodside and Amanda Schull are all bound for the series. McDonough will reprise his role of Ty O'Brien, "a hard-assed police sergeant who we met last season when he butted heads with Owen (Rob Lowe)"; with Woodside set to recur as Trevor, "a wholesome, handsome, charismatic, father and preacher"; and Schull as Rose Casey, "an FBI agent investigating the members of an extremist group." AVERAGE JOE (BET+) - Eric Dean Seaton has been tapped to direct the first episode of the upcoming Deon Cole-led series. (Deadline.com)
BRIDGE AND TUNNEL (Epix) - The pay channel has pulled the plug on the Edward Burns-produced comedy series after two seasons. (Variety.com)
DAVE (FXX) - Chloe Bennet has been tapped to recur on the show's third season as Robyn, "a photographer from Wisconsin whom Dave meets while on tour." (Variety.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Marla Gibbs has signed on to recur on the series as Joyce Ward, "grandmother of one of the new residents, Simone Griffith (Alexis Floyd), who lives in Seattle." (Deadline.com)
LIONESS (Paramount+) - Stephanie Nur will recur on the upcoming spy drama as Aaliyah, "the daughter of a billionaire businessman with ties to terrorism, who is a high value target of the CIA." (Variety.com)
