DARK MATTER (Apple TV+) - Oakes Fegley and Dayo Okeniyi have been cast opposite Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly in the upcoming drama. Fegley will play Charlie, "Jason (Edgerton) and Daniela's (Connelly) son"; while Okeniyi is Leighton, "an executive for a high-tech laboratory." (Deadline.com)
DATING WISE (E!, New!) - Production has begun on the original movie for the cable channel: "Athena has had a horrible dating history. After a particularly rough break-up with her college boyfriend, Athena moves to LA to jump start her writing career. Five years later, she is no closer to realizing her personal or professional goals. She's single and working for a dating company that teaches people how to date better, going on new dates every night of the week under the alias of Amy. She's become so comfortable being "Amy" that she no longer knows how to date as Athena. When her college ex suddenly reemerges, romantic complications ensue as Athena has to figure out who she really is and what she really wants." LAKE, THE (Amazon) - Lauren Holly has signed onto the second season of the series as Mimsy, "Maisy-May's mother. She is a free-wheeling muse who knows what she likes and how to get it, even if that means altering the truth. Mimsy returns to reconnect with her daughter and turn over a new leaf, however her presence promises to bring chaos to Maisy-May's ordered life." Also joining the cast are Max Amani and Jhaleil Swaby, who "will interact with Billie on a tree-planting crew when the series returns." (Variety.com)
MAN IN FULL, A (Netflix) - Evan Roe and Josh Pais have both been cast in the limited series. Roe plays Wally Croker: "Charlie (Jeff Daniels) and Martha's (Diane Lane) son, Wally navigates his parent's divorce with wit, humor, and an outlook on life that's wise beyond his years." And Pais portrays Herbert Richman, "a successful owner of a fitness center empire, who is suddenly pulled into Charlie's orbit when business interests collide." (Deadline.com)
NEIGHBORHOOD, THE (CBS) - John Ross Bowie will drop by the show's October 17 episode as Gregory, "Dave's new supervisor at the VA." (TVLine.com)
NEVER GAME, THE (CBS) - Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany and Eric Graise have all been cast in the Justin Hartley-led drama pilot. Weigert plays Teddi Bruin, "a former touring manager for rock musicians who's now settled into comfortable middle age in Northern Florida with her wife and a bunch of pets." McEnany portrays Velma Bruin, "Teddi's wife and business partner, the other half of the team that runs Colter's operations out of a spare room in their charming Florida home." And Graise plays Bob Exley, "the brilliant and enigmatic computer scientist who serves as a frequent resource, and reliable sparring partner, for Colter Shaw." (Deadline.com)
