Primetime "Price" Hits Season Highs in Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Matches Its Best Adult 18-49 Rating

THE PRICE IS RIGHT won its Friday time period in viewers and key demographics for the third consecutive week, hitting season highs in viewers, adults 25-54 and matching its best adult 18-49 rating, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 9, week 24 of the 2007-2008 television season.

For the week in viewers: CBS (8.09m), FOX (12.12m), NBC (7.54m) and ABC (7.32m). Season-to-date, CBS is second in viewers (10.65m), behind FOX (11.50m) and ahead of ABC (9.36m) and NBC (8.58m).

For the week in households: CBS (5.3/09), FOX (7.1/11), NBC (5.0/08) and ABC (4.8/08). Season-to-date, CBS and FOX are tied for first (6.8/11, each), +13% ahead of ABC (6.0/10) and +26% ahead of NBC (5.4/09).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for second in adults 25-54 (2.9/07, with NBC) and averaged a 2.2/06 in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is second in adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and averaging 3.0/08 in adults 18-49.
