All Three Editions of "Big Brother 10" Finish Second in Time Period, Outdelivering its Non-Olympic Competition in Viewers and Key Demographics

Thursday and Sunday Broadcasts Post Gains Versus Last Week

"Two and a Half Men" is the Week's Top Scripted Series in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 for the Eighth Consecutive Week

CBS Has the Top 11 Non-Olympic Programs in Viewers, Top 10 in Adults 25-54 and Eight of Top 10 in Adults 18-49

In an atypical week dominated by the summer Olympics, all three editions of BIG BROTHER 10 outdelivered its non-Olympic competition in viewers and key demographics with the Thursday and Sunday broadcasts posting gains, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Aug. 17, week 47 of the 2007-2008 television year.

TWO AND A HALF MEN was the top scripted program in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the eighth consecutive week. CBS had the Top 11 non-Olympic programs in viewers, Top 10 in adults 25-54 and eight of Top 10 in adults 18-49, including ties.

For the week in viewers: CBS (5.06m), NBC (28.68m), ABC (3.46m) and FOX (3.18m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (1.7/05) and adults 18-49 (1.3/04).

For the week in households: CBS (3.4/06), NBC (16.8/28), ABC (2.3/04) and FOX (2.2/04).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

TWO AND A HALF MEN (R) was second in households (5.3/08), viewers (8.07m), adults 25-54 (3.0/07) and adults 18-49 (2.4/06). It was the week's top scripted program in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the eighth consecutive week.

BIG BROTHER 10:

BIG BROTHER 10 TUESDAY was second in households (4.2/06), viewers (6.36m), adults 25-54 (2.8/07) and adults 18-49 (2.4/06).

BIG BROTHER 10 THURSDAY was second in households (3.9/07), viewers (5.86m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (2.1/07). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER 10 THURSDAY was up +5% in households (from 3.7/07), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/07) and added +330,000 viewers (from 5.53m, +6%).

BIG BROTHER 10 SUNDAY was second in households (3.5/06), viewers (5.53m), adults 25-54 (2.4/06) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06). Compared to last week's broadcast, BIG BROTHER 10 SUNDAY was up +3% in households (from 3.4/05), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/05), even in adults 25-54 while adding +130,000 viewers (from 5.40m, +2%).
