NEW YORK, NEW YORK � June 23, 2009 � USA was far and away the week's top cable network and registered a win against a "Big 4" broadcaster in every hour of prime (M-Su 8-11P) this week with original series BURN NOTICE, ROYAL PAINS, LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, and IN PLAIN SIGHT, WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW, episodes of NCIS and HOUSE, the most popular acquired series on cable, as well as big movie titles.

Last week was USA's best week ever for P25-54, total viewers, and households. This was the second most watched week ever for USA for P18-49; the only time more of these viewers tuned in was during the week of 7/3/95.

USA out-performed ABC in all key measurements, delivering +8% more P25-54, +13% more P18-49, +22% more P18-34, and +7% more total viewers.

ROYAL PAINS was the top P18-49 (2.83 million) drama on television this week, broadcast or cable and the top new scripted episode among P25-54 (2.98 million) and total viewers (6.5 million). It is also the top scripted telecast on cable year to date among P18-49. ROYAL PAINS is the only scripted drama in the last five years on cable or broadcast to grow in weeks two and three of its 1st season.

USA was the top network in basic cable prime this week among P25-54 (1.87 million) P18-49 (1.70 million), P18-34 (745,000), total viewers (3.95 million), and households (2.85 million). USA garnered the top household coverage rating in basic cable prime this week with a 2.90.

BURN NOTICE was second only to ROYAL PAINS in the cable drama rankings this week among P25-54 (2.765 million), P18-49 (2.48 million), and P18-34 (1.05 million), placing 3rd for total viewers (5.78 million) and households (4.11 million).

IN PLAIN SIGHT and LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT were the top telecasts in basic cable prime Sunday, delivering more P25-54 (IPS 1.79 million / CI 1.625 million) and total viewers (3.72 million / 3.44 million) than any other show Sunday night. IN PLAIN SIGHT was the top telecast of the night among P18-49 (1.48 million) and households (2.84 million), as well, while LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT was the #3 drama among P18-49 (1.33 million), P18-34 (490,000), and households (2.59 million).

A special 3-Hour WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW aired this week, averaging 2.63 million in P25-54, 2.62 million in P18-49, 1.32 million in P18-34, 5.48 million total viewers, and 3.59 million households. The 10P hour of Raw was the #1 telecast of the week among P18-49 (2.94 million) and P18-34 (1.50 million). This was the most watched 3-hour WWE RAW episode ever among P25-54.
