USA SHATTERS RATINGS RECORDS IN JULY

LARGEST DELIVERY EVER FOR A CABLE NETWORK

BEATS BROADCAST IN 73 PRIMETIME HOURS

NEW YORK, NEW YORK � July 28, 2009 � USA continues to cement its position as the top basic cable network with the biggest July in the history of cable, having delivered 3.15 million in total viewers, 1.5 million in P25-54 and 2.35 households. This also marks the eleventh consecutive month in which USA delivered the best month in the history of the network.

USA was the most watched cable network in July's prime, delivering more P25-54 (1.45 million, +26% over #2 TNT), P18-49 (1.29 million, +33% over #2 TNT), P18-34 (553,000, +13% over #2 TBS), total viewers (3.15 million, +5% over #2 Disney Channel), and households (2.35 million, +10% over #2 Disney Channel) as well as earning the highest household coverage rating in basic cable prime (2.39, +0.20 over #2 Disney Channel). USA was the only network to deliver over 1 million P18-49, 500,000 P18-34, or 3 million total viewers in July 2009.

USA registered victories over Broadcast in 73 primetime (M-Su 8P-11P) hours this month, with new original episodes of BURN NOTICE, ROYAL PAINS, LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT and IN PLAIN SIGHT, WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW, hit movies, and episodes of the top acquired series on cable: NCIS, HOUSE, and LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT.

USA continues to out-perform The CW, more than tripling the broadcaster's performance among P25-54 (+216%), total viewers P2+ (+236%), and households (+220%) and more than doubling The CW's P18-49 (+174%) and P18-34 (+121%) audiences this month.

BURN NOTICE was July�s top scripted series for P25-54 in all of television, broadcast or cable, delivering 3.19 million in that key demo, more than any other scripted series airing new episodes. BURN NOTICE also delivered more P18-49 (2.79 million) and P18-34 (1.23 million) than any series running original episodes in basic cable prime.

ROYAL PAINS was second only to BURN NOTICE among scripted series with new episodes on television in July among P25-54 (3.06 million) and second only to BURN NOTICE on cable among P18-49 (2.64 million) and P18-34 (1.10 million). ROYAL PAINS continues to be the most watched new cable series of the year in P25-54, P18-49, P18-34, total viewers, and households.

When USA aired LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT at 9P and IN PLAIN SIGHT at 10P Sundays in July, the network outperformed every broadcaster but FOX in delivering P18-34 (In Plain Sight 1.77 million / Criminal Intent 1.59 million), while beating ABC in P18-49, P25-54 (In Plain Sight 2.05 million / Criminal Intent 1.89 million), and total viewers (In Plain Sight 4.42 million / Criminal Intent 4.29 million). In the 10P hour, USA also beat CBS in P18-49.

Every July telecast of WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW appeared in the month's top 20 P18-49 telecasts, leading USA to be the #1 television network, broadcast or cable, in RAW's regular timeslot (Mon 9P-11P) in July among M18-49 (1.62 million) and M18-34 (765,000), placing second only to ABC among P18-34 (1.22 million) and to CBS among M25-54 (1.68 million) and total male viewers (3.64 million). WWE RAW delivered 2.57 million in P25-54, 2.56 million in P18-49, 5.47 million total viewers, and 3.66 million households in July 2009.
