CBS Is First in Viewers for the Seventh Time in Last Eight Weeks
CBS spins the numbers for the week of April 26-May 2.

CBS IS FIRST IN VIEWERS FOR THE SEVENTH TIME IN LAST EIGHT WEEKS

"Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" Posts Best Ratings Since Premiere

"NCIS" is the Week's Top Scripted Program, Followed by "NCIS: Los Angeles, "The Mentalist" and "CSI"

CBS placed first in viewers for the seventh time in eight weeks as SURVIVOR: HEROES vs. VILLAINS delivered its highest ratings since its premiere while the Network had six of the week's top 10 programs, including the top four scripted series, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending May 2, week 32 of the 2009-2010 television season.

NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, THE MENTALIST and CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION were the week's top scripted series in viewers. A rebroadcast of THE BIG BANG THEORY was the week's top sitcom and 60 MINUTES was the week's top news magazine.

For the week in viewers: CBS (9.49m), FOX (8.27m), ABC (7.72m) and NBC (5.71m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.84m), ahead of FOX (10.01m), ABC (8.54m) and NBC (8.43m).

For the week in key demographics: CBS was second in adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.2/07, with ABC). Season to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.1/10, tie with FOX) and second in adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

For the week in households: CBS (6.1/10), ABC (5.0/09), FOX (4.9/08) and NBC (3.7/06). In households season-to-date, CBS is first (7.2/12), ahead of FOX (5.8/09), ABC (5.4/09) and NBC (5.2/08).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? THE BIG BANG THEORY (R) was first in households (6.8/11), viewers (10.83m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and adults 18-49 (3.6/09) � beating a first-run episode of "Romantically Challenged."

? NCIS was second in households (10.1/16), viewers (16.29m), adults 25-54 (4.6/12) and adults 18-49 (3.5/10). Compared to the last first-run episode (on April 6, 2010), NCIS was even in adults 18-49. NCIS finished in its closest competitive position with an episode of "American Idol" in viewers (-3.13m), adults 25-54 (-3.6 rtg pts), adults 18-49 (-3.4 rtg pts) and adults 18-34 (-3.0 rtg pts).

? NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (9.7/15) and viewers (15.62m); it was second in adults 25-54 (4.6/11). Compared to the last first-run episode (on April 6, 2010), NCIS: LOS ANGELES was up +13% in households (from 8.6/13), +12% in adult 25-54 (from 4.1/09), +7% in adults 18-49 (3.2/08 from 3.0/08) and added +1.82m viewers (from 13.80m, +13%).

? THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (8.0/14), viewers (12.07m), adults 25-54 (3.3/09) and second in adults 18-49 (2.2/06).

-- On Thursday, CBS was first in households (8.5/14), viewers (13.76m), adults 25-54 (4.6/13) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10). CBS swept these measures for the seventh consecutive Thursday. CBS won every half-hour in viewers.

? SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS was first in households (7.6/13), viewers (12.74m), adults 25-54 (5.2/15) and adults 18-49 (4.1/13). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS was up +9% in households (from 7.0/12), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 4.8/13), +14% in adults 18-49 (from 3.6/11) and added +850,000 viewers (from 11.89m, +4%). SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. Compared to last week, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was up +4% in households (from 8.2/13), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 4.0/10), +7% in adults 18-49 (3.3/09 from 2.8/08) and added +280,000 viewers (from 13.35m, +2%).

? THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.4/16), viewers (14.84m), adults 25-54 (4.6/12) and adults 18-49 (3.2/10). Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +5% in adults 25-54 (from 4.4/11), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 3.0/09) and even in households. THE MENTALIST was the night's number one program in viewers.

-- On Sunday, CBS was first in households (6.8/11), viewers (10.86m) and adults 25-54 (3.3/09), finishing second in adults 18-49 (2.4/07, -0.2 behind ABC). CBS was first in viewers for the eighth consecutive week and first in adults 25-54 for the seventh time in eight weeks.

? 60 MINUTES was first in households (8.6/16), viewers (13.50m), adults 25-54 (3.2/10) and adults 18-49 (2.2/08). 60 MINUTES posted its best deliveries in these measures since April 11, 2010. 60 MINUTES was the night's number one program in both households and viewers.

? THE AMAZING RACE 16 was first in households (6.0/10), viewers (10.29m), adults 25-54 (4.1/11) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09).
