FOX Maintains its Significant Lead Over CBS for the Season
FOX spins the numbers for the week of February 7-13.

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 7 - 13, 2011

Thanks to a season-high Monday with HOUSE and the premiere of THE CHICAGO CODE, a night-winning Tuesday comedy block, two dominant installments of AMERICAN IDOL, week over week gains by BONES and the network's fourth straight Friday night victory, FOX achieved an extremely close second place finish in the adult demo last week (3.3 vs. CBS' 3.4) and maintained its significant lead over the No. 2 network for the season.

Through Sunday, FOX is leading the February sweep with an 8.6/23 among Adults 18-49, outperforming the next highest-rated network (CBS) by +219%.

Key weekly highlights:

· Last week FOX enjoyed its highest rated Monday night so far this season with entertainment programming among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers.

· On Monday, HOUSE posted a 4.3/12 among Adults 18-49, up +16% from its previous original telecast (3.7/10 on 1/24/11) -- its highest ratings of the season in the adult demo and Total Viewers.

· At 9p, the series debut of THE CHICAGO CODE posted a 2.4/6 among Adults 18-49 with 9.4 Mil Total Viewers making it FOX's most watched series debut of the season so far in Total Viewers.

· With the return of GLEE, RAISING HOPE and the debut of TRAFFIC LIGHT, FOX won Tuesday night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens and delivered its most-watched Tuesday night since 10/26/10.

· An original GLEE posted a 4.6/13 among Adults 18-49, up +5% vs. its most recent Tuesday telecast on 12/07/10 (vs. 4.4/13) and was the highest rated program of the night across key demos.

· RAISING HOPE followed with a 2.7/7 among Adults 18-49 and produced its highest Adults 18-34 rating since week two (9/28/10).

· The series debut of TRAFFIC LIGHT closed the night with a 1.9/5 among Adults 18-49, up +19% versus Running Wilde's season average with originals (1.6/4).

· FOX dominated on Wednesday and Thursday with two exciting episodes of AMERICAN IDOL and an original BONES.

· On Wednesday, AMERICAN IDOL delivered an 8.4/23 among Adults 18-49 with 24.1 Mil Total Viewers and was once again the highest rated program of the night, outperforming the #2 program by +65% in A18-49 (8.4/23 vs. Modern Family's 5.1/13) and +76% in Total Viewers (24.1 vs. Criminal Minds' 13.7 Mil.)

· Wednesday's AMERICAN IDOL retained 93% of the previous Wednesday's performance in A18-49 (8.4/23 vs. 9.0/24) and outperformed the previous Thursday by +12% (vs. 7.5/20).

· Thursday's AMERICAN IDOL posted a 7.3/20 among Adults 18-49 with 21.9 Mil Total Viewers and retained 97% of the previous week's Adults 18-49 rating and 100% of its Total Viewers. In fact, versus the comparable night the previous year, IDOL gained +4% in Total Viewers (21.9 vs. 21.0 Mil.)

· BONES closed the night with a 3.2/8 among Adults 18-49 and grew +8% over the previous week's performance among Adults 18-34. In fact, BONES is outperforming its prior season average with originals by +40% in Adults 18-49 (3.5/9 vs. 2.5/8) and +15% in Total Viewers (10.7 vs. 9.3 Mil.) so far in the 9pm hour.

· Friday and Saturday also brought nightly wins for FOX, led by strong installments of KITCHEN NIGHMARES (1.5/5) and FRINGE (1.4/5) on Friday and The Nascar Race: Bud Shootout (2.4/8) on Saturday.
