"Grimm" Matches the Show's Highest Rating Since Its Series Premiere
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, April 30.

Tuesday Results:

* From 8-10:01 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (3.7/11 in 18-49, 11.6 million viewers overall) delivered the #1 18-49 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, by a 23 percent margin versus the #2 show on those networks, "NCIS" (3.0 from 8-9 p.m.). Note that the five prior Tuesday "Voice" telecasts have all grown by 0.1-0.2 going from these fast-affil results to official nationals. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "The Voice" grew by 0.8 of a point or 24 percent (to a 4.1 from a 3.3) and by 10 percent or 1.1 million persons in total viewers (12.0 million vs. 10.9 million).

* "The Voice" is up 19 percent versus its year-ago Tuesday telecast (3.7 vs. 3.1 from 9-10 p.m. on May 1, 2012). In total viewers, "The Voice" is up 31 percent versus the same night last year (11.622 million vs. 8.903 million).

* From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, the Tuesday debut of "Grimm" (2.0/5 in 18-49, 6.0 million in total viewers) scored the show's highest 18-49 rating since October 26, 2012 and is currently matching the show's highest rating since its series premiere on October 28, 2011 did a 2.1. In total viewers, "Grimm's 5.990 million is the show's biggest overall audience since October 26, 2012 (6.106 million). Versus its prior telecast last Friday, "Grimm" is up 54 percent in 18-49 (2.0 vs. 1.3) and up 24 percent in total viewers (5.990 million vs. 4.847 million). In the time period, "Grimm" is #1 among ABC,CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 as well as adults 25-54 and 18-34 and other key demographics.

* "Grimm" captured NBC's highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period since the December 18 "Voice" finale, pending updates.

* Note that "Grimm" is one of the most time-shifted series on broadcast television, with the show's April 5 original growing by 79 percent from its "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (1.51) to its "live plus seven day" result (2.70).

* NBC is #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, adults 18-34 and every other key demographic.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.9/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/6.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
