Docu-Drama from Executive Producer Dick Wolf Ranks as
One of Basic Cable's Top 10 Unscripted Series Launches for the Year-to-Date
TNT's gripping, real-life crime series Cold Justice scored more than 2.9 million viewers in Live + Same Day delivery Tuesday night, making it one of basic cable's Top 10 unscripted series launches for the year-to-date. The powerful docu-drama, which is executive-produced by Emmy(R) winners Dick Wolf (Law & Order, Chicago Fire), Dan Cutforth & Jane Lipsitz (Chef, Fashion Star) and Tom Thayer (Hitchcock, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee), also drew 942,000 adults 25-54 in Live + Same Day for its premiere episode.
In Cold Justice, which airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) on TNT, two women who have spent their lives putting killers behind bars set out to crack long-unsolved cases. This fascinating, unscripted procedural drama follows former prosecutor Kelly Siegler and former crime-scene investigator Yolanda McClary as they dig into small-town murder cases that have lingered for years without answers or closure.
In the opening episode of Cold Justice, Siegler and McClary headed to Cuero, Texas, to search for new clues that may point to murder in a 2001 death of a woman that had been previously ruled a suicide. In next Tuesday's episode, the duo travel to Morehouse Parish, La., to investigate a 2006 cold case involving the murder of a beloved church member in the community.
Cold Justice is produced TNT by Wolf Films and Magical Elves.
