Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (12/24/13):
ABC (4.027 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) was the top demo draw on Christmas Eve thanks to encores of the animated "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (4.081 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) and the live action "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (4.016 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1).
NBC (4.660 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then snagged the silver with its latest rebroadcast of "It's a Wonderful Life" (4.660 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3).
Next up was CBS (6.557 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) with its all-repeat lineup of "NCIS" (6.826 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (7.034 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) and "Person of Interest" (5.814 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5).
Meanwhile, FOX (1.114 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) served up second runs of "Dads" (1.396 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.076 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7), "New Girl" (0.972 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #10) and "The Mindy Project" (1.013 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7).
And finally, The CW (1.007 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) closed out the evening with the feature "The 12 Dogs of Christmas" (1.007 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.2, #11).
