JIMMY FALLON DOMINATES THE LATE-NIGHT WEEK OF APRIL 21-25, UP +36% VS. "TONIGHT'S" YEAR-AGO WEEK IN 18-49

Seth Meyers Returns From a Week of Encores With a +2% Gain vs. His Prior Week of Originals

'Last Call' Beats its Year-Ago Week by +25%

NEW YORK - May 1, 2014 - In its 10th week, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" continued to generate elevated ratings, returning from a week of encores with a +36% increase versus "Tonight's" results for the same week last year in adult 18-49 rating, while time-period rivals on ABC and CBS were down versus the same week last year.

For the week of April 21-25, Fallon's 1.05 rating in adults 18-49 came within 0.03 of a rating point of the combined 18-49 results of CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" (0.51) and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.57). In total viewers, Fallon outdelivered Letterman by +20% (3.358 million vs. 2.807 million) and Kimmel by +35% (3.358 million vs. 2.487 million). Note that Kimmel was in rebroadcast on Friday.

In a week that saw all three 11:35 p.m. ET talk shows return from a week of encores, Fallon's 1.05 rating was up +36% versus the year-ago 0.77 for "Tonight," while "Late Show" declined by 18% (0.51 vs. 0.62) and "Kimmel" was down by 10% (0.57 vs. 0.63).
