Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "America's Got Talent" Returns on Top for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/27/14):

NBC (10.534 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.5, #1) was the network to beat on Tuesday thanks to the return of "America's Got Talent" (11.911 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.0, #1) and the debut of "The Night Shift" (7.782 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2).

ABC (3.826 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was a distant second place with the season premiere of "Extreme Weight Loss" (3.871 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) alongside a new "Celebrity Wife Swap" (3.735 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4).

Next up was CBS (7.480 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) and its all-repeat lineup of "NCIS" (9.280 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (7.843 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #6) and "Person of Interest" (5.317 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #7).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.294 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) served up originals from "Riot" (1.387 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #8) and "I Wanna Marry 'Harry'" (1.200 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9).

And finally, repeats of "The Originals" (0.948 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11) and "Supernatural" (1.061 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9) on The CW (1.005 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Originals" delivered a 0.2 rating while "Supernatural" posted a 0.3 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (6.576 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) was still the top draw on Tuesday with its mix of a "The Voice" (6.378 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #3) recap followed by a new "The Voice" (10.437 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.0, #1) and a rebroadcast of "The Office" (2.912 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T8) finale.

FOX (4.958 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) then was a closed second with its summer mainstay "So You Think You Can Dance" (4.958 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2).

Next up was ABC (5.293 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) with the return of "Extreme Weight Loss" (4.214 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) followed by the de facto series finale of "Body of Proof" (7.449 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4).

Meanwhile, CBS (7.272 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) offered up encores of "NCIS" (8.641 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #7) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (8.186 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) followed by the debut of "Brooklyn DA" (4.990 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T8).

And finally, repeats of "Hart of Dixie" (0.890 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #10) and "America's Next Top Model" (0.470 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.2, #11) on The CW (0.680 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) closed out the evening.
