CBS WINS IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54 FOR THE 12TH TIME IN 13 WEEKS

CBS's Scripted Series Dominate the Week in Viewers and Key Demographics

"How I Met Your Mother" and "Rules of Engagement" Deliver Season Highs in Viewers and Adults 25-54

"Survivor: Nicaragua" Finale Caps Winning Season

"60 Minutes" Delivers Its Largest Audience and Best Adult 25-54 Ratings In Two Years

CBS placed first in viewers and adults 25-54 for the 12th time in 13 weeks as the Network's scripted programming dominated the week in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 19, week 13 of the 2010-2011 television season.

NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, TWO AND A HALF MEN, CRIMINAL MINDS, THE BIG BANG THEORY, MIKE & MOLLY, THE GOOD WIFE, HAWAII FIVE-0, $#*! MY DAD SAYS, THE DEFENDERS, THE MENTALIST (R), HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT and CSI (R) were the week's top scripted series in viewers.

TWO AND A HALF MEN, THE BIG BANG THEORY, NCIS, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, MIKE & MOLLY, CRIMINAL MINDS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, $#*! MY DAD SAYS and HAWAII FIVE-0 were the week's top scripted series in adults 18-49.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and RULES OF ENGAGEMENT posted season highs in viewers and adults 25-54, while the finale of SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA capped a winning season for the reality hit in its new Wednesday time period and 60 MINUTES delivered its largest audience and highest adult 25-54 rating since December 2008.

For the week in viewers: CBS (11.14m), NBC (8.50m), ABC (4.65m) and FOX (4.61m). Season-to-date in viewers, CBS (12.29m) is ahead of ABC (9.25m), NBC (8.23m) and FOX (7.76m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (3.7/10) and second in adults 18-49 (2.7/08. -0.1 behind NBC). Season-to-date, CBS is first in both adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09), up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.1/10) and even in adults 18-49 compared to last season.

For the week in households: CBS (6.7/11), NBC (5.1/09), ABC (2.9/05) and FOX (2.8/05). Season-to-date, CBS is (7.5/12) ahead of ABC (5.8/10), NBC (5.1/08) and FOX (4.6/07).

-- On Monday, CBS was first in households (6.9/11), viewers (11.19m), adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and adults 18-49 (3.4/09). CBS was first in households and viewers for the third straight week, first in adults 25-54 for the fourth week in a row and first in adults 18-49 for the fifth consecutive week.

? HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was first in households (6.0/09), viewers (9.70m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11), adults 18-49 (3.6/10) and second in adults 18-34 (2.8/09). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted season highs in viewers and adults 25-54.

? RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was first in households (5.7/09), viewers (9.59m) and adults 25-54 (4.3/10); it was second in adults 18-49 (3.2/09). RULES OF ENGAGEMENT posted season highs in viewers and adults 25-54, matching the show's second-highest rating in adults 18-49 so far this season.

? TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (8.5/13), viewers (13.95m), adults 25-54 (5.7/13) and adults 18-49 (4.2/11). TWO AND A HALF MEN was Monday's #1 program in households, viewers and adults 25-54.

? MIKE & MOLLY was first in households (7.4/11), viewers (11.96m), adults 25-54 (4.8/11) and adults 18-49 (3.6/09).

? HAWAII FIVE-0 was first in households (6.8/12), viewers (10.91m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08).

? NCIS was first in households (12.2/20), viewers (19.87m), adults 25-54 (5.5/14) and adults 18-49 (4.0/12). NCIS posted its season high in households, as well as its best deliveries in both viewers and adults 18-49 since Nov. 9, 2010, and in adults 25-54 since Nov. 16, 2010. NCIS was Tuesday's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54, and tied for #1 in adults 18-49 (with "The Biggest Loser" finale).

? NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (10.3/16) and viewers (16.81m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.6/11, with NBC) and second in adults 18-49 (3.3/09). NCIS: LOS ANGELES scored its best households and viewers performances since March 9, 2010, and its best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 performances since Nov. 16, 2010.

? THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (7.7/14) and viewers (11.84m); it was second in adults 25-54 (3.2/09) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06). Compared to the last first-run episode on Nov. 23, 2010, THE GOOD WIFE was up +18% in households (from 6.5/11), +14% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/07), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/06) and added +1.78m viewers (from 10.06m, +18%).

-- On Wednesday, CBS was first in households (7.3/12), viewers (12.12m), adults 25-54 (4.1/11) and adults 18-49 (2.9/09). CBS has won 11 of the last 13 Wednesdays in viewers, and 10 of the last 13 in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

? SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA was first in households (7.0/12), viewers (12.32m), adults 25-54 (4.8/13) and adults 18-49 (3.5/11). SURVIVOR posted its largest audience since Oct. 13, 2010. Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA was up +3% in households (from 6.8/11) and added +190,000 viewers (from 12.13m, +2%). SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA was the night's #1 program in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

-- SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA, which has won its new Wednesday time period in viewers and key demographics every week against regular competition, improved the year-ago time period by +83% each in viewers (13.36m from 7.30m), adults 18-49 (4.2 from 2.3) and adults 25-54 (5.5 from 3.0). SURVIVOR was also up +1% in viewers compared to its own Thursday performance last season.

? CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (8.4/14), viewers (13.77m), adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). CRIMINAL MINDS was Wednesday's #1 program in viewers.

? THE DEFENDERS was first in households (6.4/11), viewers (10.29m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06).
