CBS WINS TUESDAY IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54

"NCIS" Wins its Time Period in Viewers and Demos, Topping "Glee" in Adults 18-49 For the Second Consecutive Week

"NCIS: Los Angeles" Wins its Time Period in Viewers and Adults 25-54

"Unforgettable" Places First at 10:00 PM in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

CBS won Tuesday in viewers and adults 25-54 and was a solid second in adults 18-49 as NCIS and UNFORGETTABLE won their respective time periods in viewers and key demographics and NCIS: LOS ANGELES placed first in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sept. 27.

NCIS was first in households (11.8/19), viewers (19.18m), adults 25-54 (5.7/14) and adults 18-49 (4.2/12) for the second consecutive week. NCIS posted its largest advantage to date over a first-run "Glee" in adults 25-54 (+2.2 rtg pts) and adults 18-49 (+0.6 rtg pts). NCIS was the night's number one program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, number two in adults 18-49 (-0.2 behind "New Girl").

NCIS: LOS ANGELES (P) was first in households (10.0/15), viewers (16.13m), adults 25-54 (4.7/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.5/09, -0.1 behind FOX).

At 10:00 PM, UNFORGETTABLE was first in households (8.0/13), viewers (12.29m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/06) for the second consecutive week. UNFORGETTABLE retained over 85% of its premiere week deliveries in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

For the night, CBS was first in households (10.0/15), viewers (15.87m), adults 25-54 (4.7/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.4/09, -0.2 behind FOX) for the second consecutive week. CBS won every half-hour in households, viewers and adults 25-54, five of six half-hours in adults 18-49 for the second consecutive week.

Updated Tuesday ratings will be available this afternoon.

Note: DVR penetration is at 42%, up from 38% last year. Last fall, Live+7 audiences for original entertainment series on CBS gained over 1.8 million viewers, on average, over Live+ Same Day ratings, more than any other network. This season, we expect DVR penetration to continue to increase and, as a result, we expect DVR playback audiences to grow as well.
